Beck
"Beck" is a word used for a stream in Yorkshire, Lancashire and Cumbria. This beck is in Borrowdale, which is in the Northern Lake District in Cumbria. A bit far North for Swallows and Amazons, which was mostly set around Windermere and Coniston.
